​Conditions Survey Notices

2/22/16 - NOTICE OF PROPERTY OWNERS
    
Open House Will be held as follows:
    
Monday, February 22, 2016
5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    
City Administration Building, Suite 102
30 S. Nevada Avenue
    
Notice is hereby given that a conditions survey (blight study) is being conducted of select private and public parcels, as well as public improvements including rights of way, located in the vicinity of Sierra Madre St and Vermijo Avenue (west of Cascade Avenue) within the city of Colorado Springs municipal boundaries. The purpose of the survey / study is to determine whether adverse conditions exist sufficient for the Colorado Springs City Council to designate the area where the parcels and improvements exist as an urban renewal area, pursuant to the provisions of the Colorado Urban Renewal Law. An Open House is scheduled for February 22, 2016 from 5-7 PM in Room 102 of the City Administration Building 30 S. Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 where information regarding the survey and planning process, as well as urban renewal in general will be available for review. A brief presentation will be made at 5:30 pm followed by a question and answer session, concluding at 7:00 pm. Copies of the final survey document will be available for inspection in the Urban Renewal Office, Suite 502, 30 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903. Regular CSURA board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month except for November and December, which are held on the third Wednesday of the month.

An Open House is scheduled for August 18 from 5-7 PM in the Community Room at the former Ivywild School, 1604 South Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80905 where information regarding the survey and planning process, as well as urban renewal in general will be available for review. A brief presentation will be made at 6:00 pm followed by a question and answer session, concluding at 7:00 pm. Copies of the final survey document will be available for inspection in the Urban Renewal Office, Suite 502, 30 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
